The Palas® Condensation Particle Counter ENVI-CPC 200 is a CPC for monitoring outside air in the environment. The Model 200 is designed for high concentrations and allows single particle counting up to 2.000.000 particles/cm3. It can be used to monitor outdoor air without a dilution system.
The ENVI-CPC 200 can be equipped with an isothermal Nafion® aerosol dryer which requires no consumables and can be used for months without maintenance. The humidity of the aerosol at the entrance is measured and controlled. In addition, the ENVI-CPC 200 has a second pump for the working fluid to suck it out of a large butanol reservoir. Thanks to these special features, it can be used for months without having to refill the liquid reservoir.
The cutoff diameter is 7 nm, as required for CPCs for monitoring outside air. Another advantage is the high aerosol flow rate of 0.9 l/min, which reduces diffusion losses to a minimum. The ENVI-CPC 200 can be equipped with a powerful meteorological sensor that monitors temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation type and intensity of the outside air. An outdoor weatherproof housing is available.

The volume flow is controlled by an internal flow sensor with a controlled diaphragm pump with a long service life. In contrast to a critical nozzle control, contamination of the system cannot lead to a drop in the volume flow. This is particularly important for long-term measurements in the outside air. The flow rate can also be recalibrated by the user himself.
The user interface of the ENVI-CPC 200 is a 7" touch display. For remote control and network applications, the ENVI-CPC 200 supports a standardized interface with various protocol selection options, e.g. Modbus, Bayern-Hessen protocol and special features such as remote access and data storage on the Internet or in an internal network.
