The Chrozen UHPLC is designed to strongly reduce the dispersion of samples within the system via a reduced internal volume. This results in a much lower dead volume, which in turn greatly increases sensitivity. The chromatograms shown below result from the same application performed under exactly the same conditions. The only difference lies in the use of the chrozen UHPLC vs. a common HPLC.
In addition, the Chrozen UHPLC uses a "total reflection cell" in the detector, which thanks to the liquid core waveguide technology reduces the loss of any light intensity to a minimum, thus further increasing the sensitivity.
