TWA Resume Function
The TWA Resume* function allows the toxic gas exposure to be calculated as a timeweighted average (TWA) over an entire work shift.
The red dotted line in the graph shows workers who use other gas detection devices and turn them off during their lunch break. This risks over-exposure to hydrogen sulphide (H2S).
Only T4 offers the option to include earlier measurements in the exposure calculation after the detector is switched on again, thus protecting the user from exceeding the exposure limit.
Thanks to the TWA Resume (green line), the T4 will give an alarm at 14:00 when the TWA reaches 5ppm over 8 hours.
